Fresh Tomato Salsa


4 large ripe tomatoes

1/4 cup chopped onion

1/4 cup cilantro

1 Tbsp. fresh  oregano

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp. minced jalapeno pepper, or to taste

1 Tbsp.  olive oil

2 tsp. lime juice

salt and pepper to taste


Cut tomatoes and remove the seeds, dice.

Place in a medium size bowl.  Add remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix.  Let sit loosely covered to allow flavors to mix.  Sere immediately or refrigerate and serve with in four hours.


**Great for nachos, chicken, fish, vegetables or anytime you need a salsa dip, this will do the trick!
